so i'll let you in on a little secret. i love making edible crafts. i have been trying to think of something quick and creative that i could make for easter. i came up with this idea. as far as i know it is original. once all the pieces came together for me in my mind, i made a quick run to wal-mart so i could execute the idea. even the yellow grass basket is edible. I attached the chocolate bunny to the popsicle stick using double-sided tape. i placed about 20 jelly beans in each bag. i wound the grass tightly to create the basket and slid the chocolate bunny popsicle in the middle if the grass basket. i then inserted the bunny and basket into the treat bag. When I sat the treat bag up all of the jelly beans fell right into the basket. my daughter made the tags and wrote Happy Easter and i attached a ribbon at the end to keep it all in the bag. voila a super fast and easy easter treat idea.

then i had been asked to come up with some baby shower invitations for a friend of mine. back ot http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ i went. I saw the cutest invitation with a punch art baby. my daughter and i set it up assembly style and we were done in no time.

wow! when i look back on the dreams and goals i set for 2009, setting up my blog ranks way up there. now i am beginning to wonder what took me so long. i am looking forward to being able to share my creative world with others. people continue to tell me that this is a real gift. so let's see where it goes. here we go!!!
